Michael Quinn Vancouver Island University

Michael Quinn has assumed the position of provost and vice-president academic at Vancouver Island University. Dr. Quinn, who began his new role in June, has a host of academic leadership experience, most recently serving as vice-provost and associate vice president, academic at Mount Royal University since 2019. Prior to MRU, Dr. Quinn spent 16 years as an associate and full professor in the faculty of environmental design at the University of Calgary. Dr. Quinn holds a PhD from York University and is a multiSSHRC and NSERC recipient.
