FUNDING AVAILABLE – FSL Bursaries

Are you a postsecondary institution in Canada that offers programs partially or entirely in French? Take part in the Bursaries for Postsecondary Studies in French as a Second Language Program, which aims to encourage English-speaking students to pursue their postsecondary studies in French. Each year, 850 bursaries worth $3,000 each are awarded.

Postsecondary institutions wishing to receive funding for 2022-2023 bursaries must submit a proposal for consideration no later than November 1, 2021.

Verify your eligibility and submit a proposal at ACUFC.ca/FSLbursaries.

PEOPLE ON THE MOVE

Detlev Zwick York University

Detlev Zwick has been named dean of the Schulich School of Business at York University. His five-year term began on July 1, 2021, when he was appointed interim dean. Prior to that role, Dr. Zwick served as the school’s associate dean academic, and earlier as director of its BBA/iBBA program. He has also represented the school on Senate and the Senate Executive Committee and has served on the Joint Committee on Affirmative Action. Dr. Zwick has been a member of the full-time faculty in Schulich’s Marketing program since 2002.
